Song of the Day: Don’t Go

Today’s song is Don’t Go by Yazoo.

Synth Pop.
This may sound like it was recorded in an alley, but it’s rather catchy.

It has a great hook, memorable effects and screams early ’80’s like few things can.

Say what you will, that pace is solid. Simple drum loop, but works well with this track.

Yeah, I can understand the confusion for my choice with this.
The whole reason is because there are SEVERAL solid great remixes of this track.
My personal favorite is the one by Mandee. It evolves the original in so many ways.
It does what all good remixes should aim for: Build upon the source, make it your own, and improve it fully.
