In my opinion this is electro-pop, but I don’t claim the genre.

Quick. To the point. A solid quandary, with some soothing lyrics.
The entire tone of this track is mellow. Something about the pacing works well.

Tell me why I know your friends but you don’t know mine.

It’s possible that this will become dated quickly, but it works for current times.

The build for the chorus is neat. I like songs that pair the pacing with any backing layers.
This track treats it all with a type of ‘ethereal’ simplicity.
Enough for a hook, but the lyrics do the heavy lifting.
By the time you work it out, the song is over.
