These are cartoons that started the 2010’s (when every series decided to have lore).
These animated series started between the years of 2010 and 2020. This decade offered miniseries, online content, and odd attempts to relate to internet culture. It was a strange time.
Growing up in the 2010s was cool, because shows like “Adventure Time”, “Bob’s Burgers”, “Young Justice” and the hilarious mysteries of “Gravity Falls” were available to watch.
Some shows never got enough attention, like “Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated”, “Voltron: Legendary Defender“, and some odd ducks randomly placed on streaming networks.
This decade didn’t have that many long-standing series. A good chunk of long-running series started at the tail end of the 2000s. That unfortunately impacted the decade with less fresh material until the end of the period.
It did however create some shorter series that wanted to end early or wrap things up, like “Over the Garden Wall” and the return of “Samurai Jack”.
2010’s Cartoons I Watched
I was born in 97, so I was a teenager in this decade. If it wasn’t for “Gravity Falls”, I wouldn’t have found how much I loved animation. “Steven Universe” filled the void once the show ended and I try to find new stuff occasionally.
There were plenty of great animated series in the 2010s. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen them all (yet). Some of your favorite 2010s cartoons are not on this page. That means I’ve haven’t watched them.
Sorry. Maybe one day I’ll add them. You’ll see updates to this list over time.
The purple links go to my discussions.
The green ones lead to their Wikipedia pages.

This decade made way for a ton of changes. Netflix helped kick off the creation of new content.
