Had to follow up with Meat Loaf. It would have been a waste of a good segue.

Manic piano. Haunting vocals. Enough power-ballad energy to level a city block.
Yeah. It’s silly out of context, but still a ton of fun.

Can you colorize my life I’m so sick of black and white?
Can you make it all a little less old?

Jim Steinman is such an excellent song writer. His work is so fun to follow (and Meat Loaf’s documentary is rather interesting).

It’s a nice duet. Some cool motifs.
An absolute pinnacle of a 90’s-laden power-ballad.
