Song of the Day: Feeling Good

Today’s song is Feeling Good by Nina Simone.

One of my favorite classics.
It’s roots are so baked into Simone’s work that few care that this song was originally written for a British musical.

I adore this song. So much.
It drips soul, passion and somehow manages inherent positivity (even after endless negativity, of which that weight is apparent).

Giving ’em eargasms with my mellow accent.

Love how calming this one is. There is an outstanding beauty to it’s message.

Some might be aware of it’s existence because of shows like Chuck (that loved to share it’s passion for good music, usually a-la Jeffster).
It also spawned a decent rendition by Michael Bublé.
l’m just so glad that this track is represented in some forms of media.
