Song of the Day: Who Can It Be Now?

Today’s song is Who Can It Be Now? by Men at Work.

That punchy saxophone just grips you immediately.
Then Colin Hay’s lyrics begin (with that charming Australian accent).
Then the harmonies/blending begins and it just progresses into excellence.

Who can it be knocking at my door? Go ‘way, don’t come ’round here no more.

That sax solo is a blast. The call-response is so fun to listen to.

It’s a solid ballad about the unease and anxiety one faces when they don’t care for their living situation.
The song also has this humorous edge to it that makes it stand out.
I dig it.
