Song of the Day: Risk It All

Today’s song is Risk It All by Jackson Harris.

A bit of eclectic, contemporary pop.
This one places the focus into the lyrics of an anxious person doing what they can to be with someone.
It has a sweet meaning. The electronic elements are also rather catchy.

Strange that I’m taking chances. Don’t know if it’ll work out.

It suits all of the needs for a solid pop song: catchy, repetitive and an interesting theme.

The energetic tone works for me.
It’s self-reflective and fits the theme.

The maracas also were an interesting choice for the build up.
All of the percussion elements, really.
