Song of the Day: Psycho

Today’s song is Psycho by Maise Peters.

Pop. It’s British pop, if that makes it a bit easier to stomach.
I’m human. If a song is catchy (and interesting) enough, I’ll dig it.

This was made under Ed Sheeran’s label (which makes so much sense it’s hilarious).
There is enough here to really dig, from the electronic layers, to the more clever lyrical bits.

Playing a perfect Patrick Bateman. Put blame on anyone but you.

The ending where the lyrics layer is where I just start grinning. It takes effort to balance that.

Is it far too ‘rapid-pace’ and repetitive? Yeah. That’s most pop in a nutshell.
Regardless, I’ve heard this track a few dozen times and I don’t hate it yet.
That is worth some praise (or at least some recognition).
