Song of the Day: Baba O’Riley

Today’s song is Baba O’Riley by The Who.

Hard/Electronic Rock.
A classic. Simple as that. It’s fifty years old, holding such a powerful presence.

Pete Townshend wrote this (and sings the part “it’s only teenage wasteland”) for a rock opera.
You’ll recognize his style.

I don’t need to fight to prove I’m right.
I don’t need to be forgiven.

So much can be said about this track. And so much has.

This song is over fifty years old. Endless analysis has been done about it.
I’m just going to showcase it and note that I enjoy it. Simple as that.
