Song of the Day: Entropy

Today’s song is Entropy by Grimes.

Alternative/Indie.
This song reminds me of the fleeting notion of existence and the bizarre nature of time/energy.

I want to focus more on the song, rather than my own concerns over the heat death of the universe.
That said, this is an interesting track.

Maybe they’re just screaming.
Maybe it’s not music and it’s all a lie.

The layers have a nice weight to them, the lyrics blend well, and the vocal effects are neat.

The drum-line is cool. Works a solid hook to the vocals.
Not too distracting, but distinct enough to stand out.
Particularly enjoy the way the electronic elements jump out at you.
