Today’s song is Cool For A Second by Yumi Zouma.

This song is a bit difficult to parse at first, but over time it really becomes something beautiful.
Focus on the backing, really delve into the lyrics and you’ll find that this is neat track.

Omissions never flare, they go out if you let them.
Changing every year, I was cool for a second.

The vocals sound a bit garbled, but once the harmonies work together it stands out as an upbeat sound.

The soft strumming and the heavy-hitting drums melt together into a mellow ballad that works as a mood-shifter.
