Today’s song is Can’t Fight the Moonlight by Leann Rhymes.

Pop. A power-ballad that rivals the work of Britney Spears.
I’m sorry for harping on about this song, but it’s pure nostalgia for me, and I think it still holds up.

Yeah. It’s goofy, dated and comes from the soundtrack from a bizarre movie about a bar.
That being said, the hook for this track hits pretty hard.

There’s a magical feeling so right.
It will steal your heart tonight.

In terms of bizarre trivia, this track went triple-platinum in Australia.

I wish I knew why I still love this song. In most respects, I should have forgotten about it.
That being said, I stand by my claims that this song does still have some merit, even if it’s dated.
