Song of the Day: The Riddle

Today’s song is The Riddle by Five for Fighting.

Alt/Soft Rock.
This is an extremely sweet song that I’ve loved (and had on my playlists) for over a decade.

Five for Fighting is cool because it’s literally just one guy, in a one-man-band situation.

Catch a Dylan song, or some eclipse of the moon.
Let an angel swing and make you swoon.

Soft, soothing and has some excellent chord progression. The melding of all the instruments is beautiful.

It’s an engaging song, even if it’s a bit sappy. I think that’s the point.
Reflection tends to require a lighter mentality. This song is pretty upbeat and springy, so it works well.
No, it likely won’t shatter anyone’s minds, but I find it to be a pleasant tune.
