Song of the Day: Let it Whip

Today’s song is Let it Whip by Dazz Band.

Funk/Post-Disco.
This song has some cool layers, like the synth baseline and the drum-machine rhythm.
They work alongside actual base and drums, which gives it a full sound that works well.

Ooh-hoo.

Obviously the harmonizing vocals also give the track a deliberate ‘dance’ sound.

There is a real sense of precision with this one.
The timing between where elements jump in/out is excellent.
It gives the entire song a really fun energy that makes it seem like the band had a blast with it.
Just really dig it’s sound. It’s a really fun sound for Funk.
