Song of the Day: rollercoaster baby

Today’s song is rollercoaster baby by Oh Wonder.

Alternative/Rock-pop.
This one has been drilling into my head for the last few months.
There are so many exquisite elements that meld beautifully, from warbled shout vocals to a tone that matches bouncy chiptune.

I spent the summer tryna loosen up, be lazy.
The truth is that I kind of gave up on pretending.

When you break this song down you notice how many unique segments there are and how they are all mesh together. It’s neat.

The pace of this one really knows how to build.
Before you know it, the track is jumping up and down like a manic jogger.
When the song ends it hits you just how interesting the ride was.
