Song of the Day: Little Sister Song

Today’s song is Little Sister Song by Kid Sistr.

Alternative/Indie.
I fell in love with this one half-way through my first listen. The punch is excellent.
I’ve since listened to this on repeat. Still enjoy it, even after 40+ times.
It helps that it’s only a 2:30 min song.

She’ll be better off without you. Careful who you run your mouth to.
You can’t do her any favors. She’s doing fine.

That backing instrumentation is phenomenal. Love the drums. The cowbell is cool too.

There is enough of an edge here that it stands out, and I like the antagonistic tone.
That buildup harmony works well. Also, seriously, those drums are such a nice addition. Try singling them out. You’ll see what I mean.
