Today’s song is Lazy Eye by the Silversun Pickups.

Indie Rock/Dream Pop.
This type of music usually isn’t my speed, but this track really melds with me.
The focus is heavily on the instrumentation, and the tonal shift into something harder is excellent.

Everyone’s so intimately rearranged.
Everyone’s so focused clearly with such shine.

The shredding guitar takes center focus, but those drums keep the pace beautifully.

There is just something equally soothing yet energized behind the melody. It serves a dual-purpose.
Frustration seeps through, illustrating itself into a song that expresses that angst with a great shakeup.
