Song of the Day: Panic Switch

Today’s song is Panic Switch by Silversun Pickups.

Indie/Alt-Rock.
Right from the start you get a sense of the tone. Those drums set the pace and the warbling guitar melts together into something special.
This one is a recent favorite for me. If I can find tracks like this at my age, I’m sure there are plenty of excellent songs I’ve yet to be introduced to.
Hopefully you dig this one.

Time. It’s never worth my time.
Blue shine bleeds into my eyes.

There is some exceptional structure here: Guitar distortion, walls of sound, melting-synth and man, those drums.

It brings an edge to the sound that some songs just blossom under.
That middle instrumentation explores the space and strings together something spectacular.
Quite a fan of this one (and it’s why I’ve recently highlighted two of their songs).
